Polyclinic Glavić is comprised of two private outpatient clinics based in Croatia – one in Dubrovnik in the south and the other in Zagreb, the country’s capital. This case study focuses on the successful story of the Zagreb based clinic. Since the opening of the clinic, the main goal of Dr. Glavić (the founder) was to create a clinic with modern equipment which would give patients more than just conventional therapy approaches.
However, in Croatia, where government subsidies for robotic rehabilitation treatments is low, this could have proven difficult. Cut to today and the clinic uses state-of-the-art robotic neurorehabilitation devices to treat paediatric as well as adult patients who suffer from acute and chronic impairments of the upper and/or lower extremities – all while being a highly profitable business at the same time.
