DIH, leading global robotics & virtual reality (VR) technology provider for advanced rehabilitation care, announced the transition of the strategic commercial agreement made in 2020 with Gorbel, Inc. into the complete purchase of its Rehabilitation Division.
Gorbel is an innovative developer and manufacturer of smart material handling & fall protection systems and three devices used in physical rehabilitation: SafeGait 360° Balance and Mobility Trainer®, the EMBRACE™ Patient Harness and SafeGait ACTIVE Dynamic Mobility Trainer™. With the completion of the purchase from Gorbel, SafeGait™ Solutions are now fully integrated into the DIH portfolio alongside Hocoma and Motek, its other global leading brands in the fields of rehabilitation and research.
Gorbel kept their mission to improve the lives of patients while partnering with DIH, an established leader in the rehabilitation market.

All three SafeGait™ devices will continue to be manufactured in the USA and are now listed with the FDA (Food and Drug Administration) under DIH Technology, Inc.
